Specialty:

Engineering consulting helping companies with product design & development, project management, manufacturing engineering & automation and business development. I can help your company get successful new (or improved) products on the market.

Services

Most companies I’ve been involved with are trying to develop new products, update or improve existing products or be more efficient at making the products they have. I’ve mainly been helping small or start-up companies grow by developing and launching new products into the market. I’m not only a mechanical design engineer, but also can help with:

Therefore, I can help with all aspects from concepts and prototyping to production and market launch.

My engineering experience is about 50% in design and development including:

and 50% manufacturing engineering including:

Companies value this balance because I don’t design products that can’t be made and I can follow the design all the way through to manufacturing. Also, many hard to manufacture products may benefit from redesign or using new manufacturing processes or equipment.

Background, Education and Qualifications

I have a mechanical engineering degree (BSME) from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and 20 years experience in a variety of technologies. I have worked mainly with medical and biotechnology products and am proficient with FDA regulation including design controls and cGMP’s. My consulting business was established in 2002. I’ve learned that companies always need to adapt to changing business climates and overcome challenges. Companies I’ve worked with have benefited by growing or expanding their markets, reducing costs and improving on time delivery and customer satisfaction.
