Assisting emerging companies with the business, technology, product and funding strategies required to reach profitability is the company’s primary focus. Mr. McGeoch’s broad technology base, including fiber optic telecommunications components, thin client computing, mass storage, computer aided engineering, data communications and semiconductor test equipment, provides the expertise and experience to assist entrepreneurs pursuing a variety of products and market sectors.

Mr. McGeoch is an active Angel Investor and member of the North Country Angels.

Background, Education and Qualifications

Mr. McGeoch is an entrepreneur with extensive management experience. He has over 30 years of experience filling leadership roles in startups and established companies. Bruce’s broad experience base includes product development, strategic planning, business development, marketing, strategic partnerships and manufacturing processes. His market/technology vision and communication skills (oral/written) have been keys to developing successful business strategies. Bruce has demonstrated the ability to build organizations that achieve goals on time and within budget. He has successfully taken complex programs from concept research to field implementation. Bruce has also demonstrated the ability to motivate teams including cross-functional management of non-direct resources.  He has extensive experience negotiating and managing supplier/partner relationships including Far East manufacturing relationships.

Prior to moving to Vermont in 2004, Mr. McGeoch split his career between the Boston/Rt.128 and Silicon Valley high-tech areas, working for companies such as Teradyne, Arthur D. Little, Valid Logic (now part of Cadence), Quantum, Wyse Technology, Gemfire and Redfern Integrated Optics.

Mr. McGeoch holds B.S.E.E. and Masters of Engineering degrees from Cornell University. He has attended the AEA/Stanford Executive Institute, the AEA/Ivey Executive Marketing Program and the Stanford Financial Management Program and holds one patent.
