It is my pleasure to serve as the president of the Vermont Consultants Network as our organization celebrates twenty years providing outstanding learning and networking opportunities to our members.
One of the greatest strengths of this organization is our membership. The diversity of consulting specialties represented as well as the wide variety of experience of our members, keep us focused on the things that help our collective consulting practices flourish in both up and down economic periods.
Reflective of this membership, our new Executive Board has come together this past summer to begin a process to revisit our existing mission statement and consider a modest number of organizational goals in order to keep us focused on meeting the expressed needs of our membership.
If you are presently a member, we thank you for being part of this effort as well as responding to our recent member survey which included both strategy-focused questions and operationally-focused questions related to topics for future events. I assure you that seeking your direct feedback through online survey tools will continue and in between surveys, I always welcome hearing your thoughts about ways we can continue to improve. I look forward to seeing you at our monthly meetings (with the exception of August) held on the second Thursday morning of each month at Network Performance Incorporated located in South Burlington, Vermont.
If you are not yet a member, I encourage you to be in touch with me. I would be happy to share with you the membership benefits of the Vermont Consultants Network; which is open to both full-time and part-time Vermont-based consulting professionals.
Continued Success,
Bob Uerz, CFRE
